Marve beach photos, on my way to Manori

On my way to Manori, I visited Marve beach, Malad (West) and clicked few photos with my mobile phone. The beach also acts as a jetty to reach Manori via a 10 mins boat ride. Manori is so close, you can see it with naked eye and feels like a walk across in knee deep sea water. You also get boats to visit fun park Esselworld and Water Kingdom from the same jetty. The ferry service is provided by BEST and local fishermen. You can reach Marve beach from Malad Station by catching a auto rickshaw or public transport (BEST BUS).

Car burst into flames in broad daylight

Even automobiles can’t bear the Mumbai heat..! Just joking. Recently, saw a car burst into flames in broad day light in front of my house. Poor driver, he could do next to nothing but wait for other people to help him put the flames off. Check out the front bonnet..!!

Conversation between two Chat Bots

What happens when two chat bots are put together in a face-off situation? They talk a lot. Obviously. That’s what they are meant to do. However, good luck trying to make any sense out of it. Researchers at the Cornell’s Creative Machines Lab came up with this brilliant idea as a part of their submission to Loebner Prize Competition. But the conversation is far from perfect in resembling human. Loebner Prize Competition awards $100,000 to the team whose computer programs can conduct the most human-like conversations. June 12, 2005: Steve Jobs – CEO of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, gave commencement address to Stanford students. The speech delivered would go down in history as one of the best one. I have read it multiple times. Still love to go through it again. You may like him, you may hate him, but you cannot ignore him. And That’s for sure.

Don’t let someone else judge you

We know that we are not perfect. Far from perfect. Lucky to be average in most of the tasks. However, why let someone else judge what we are? It is easier to raise questions, give advice and judge others. However, it is very difficult to judge self. Why taint our judgement with what others think. Steve Jobs didn’t listen to other’s judgement. Same with Bill Gates and Larry Ellison and the likes of it. So why you and me.

Remember, “We judge ourselves by what we are capable of doing. While others judge us by what we have done”

Andy Rubin, head of Android division at Google received a multi million dollar bonus check for launching the popular mobile operating system back in 2008. Wallstreet reports that Andy shared his bonus check with his fellow android workers distributing between $10,000 to $50,000 to each.
